All my guests LOVED the music!
Love Notes added the finishing touches to my wedding dinner at Hotel Jen, Tanglin. From the early planning stages to the banquet evening, Love Notes and musicians are professional, reliable, prompt, and extremely accommodating. They were quick to suggest a complete playlist for the night, very understanding when I made multiple changes to the songlist (and last-minute ones too). Yew Liang in particular took the extra effort to check with the musicians whether the song that I specially asked for (the theme song from Scent of a Woman) could be played. He also meticulously arranged for my relative to sing with the band. On the day before the wedding, he even re-assured me that everything will be fine, a simple gesture but goes a long long way for a nervous and frantic-ing bride!
The musicians were really good and their music fitted the occasion like a glove. On top of the 2 sets that they played, they played during my march-ins. The live music blended in so well, it gave the banquet hall so much presence. The transitions from the march-in to the next items e.g. cake cutting, champagne pouring were also perfect. Our playlist was a mixture of classical, jazz, mandarin pop and classics. The band tackled every song with ease and sass; Every song sounded marvellous!
Unfortunately as the bride there's no time to sit down for reflective listening... So I really hope that I'll have a chance to enjoy a wedding dinner with LN's musicians onstage.
(Personal opinion: Live music is sweetens your wedding occasion much more than does a photo booth. )
